What we do with your information
This page is written in simple English. It is short because there is very little to tell you.
The short answer
This website does not collect anything about you. It does not know who you are. It does not follow you. You can read every page and we will not know that you were here.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies.
A cookie is a small file a website puts on your phone or computer. Many websites use them to remember you or to watch what you do. This site does not put any file on your device.
That is why there is no box asking you to accept cookies. There is nothing to accept.
Tracking
This site does not track you.
- There is no Google Analytics.
- There is no Facebook pixel or any other pixel.
- There are no adverts.
- There is no chat window.
- Nothing on the page is loaded from another company.
What the web host can see
Our web host is IONOS. Like every web host, its computers keep a short record when a page is sent to you. That record can include your IP address. An IP address is a number your internet connection uses. It is not your name.
We do not look at these records and we do not use them to work out who visited. The host keeps them for a short time for security reasons, then deletes them.
If you send us an email
If you email us, we will have your email and your email address. That is normal.
We will:
- read it;
- reply to it;
- keep it while we are still talking about the same thing.
We will not:
- add you to a mailing list;
- sell your details to anybody;
- give your details to anybody else, unless the law makes us.
Please do not send us private information about your health, your immigration case, or your family. We do not need it, and we cannot give advice about it. If you need immigration advice, you must speak to somebody who is allowed to give it. We are not.
If you are frightened about who can see this
Some people who read this site are worried about being watched. That is a fair worry.
Two things that are true here:
- Reading this website does not create a record with your name on it.
- You do not have to give us anything to read Chapter 1. There is no form.
If you share a phone or a computer with someone else, remember that your own browser keeps a history of pages you visit. That is on your device, not ours. You can delete it in your browser settings.
Your rights
The law gives you rights over information about you. You can ask us what we have. You can ask us to correct it. You can ask us to delete it.
Email contact@riseainternational.co.uk and ask. We will reply within five working days.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. They are the UK organisation that checks how companies handle information. Their website is ico.org.uk.
Organisations we work with
If your organisation buys certification from us, we will handle some information about your staff. That is a different situation and it has its own written agreement.
You can read it here: the data processing agreement. It is written for a data protection officer, so it is longer and harder than this page.
Who is responsible
RISEA International, a sole trader business run by Lynda Smart in Pontypridd, Wales. Email contact@riseainternational.co.uk.
